What type of epoxy should I use?

You should probaby just use PVC cement. I use the clear type.

Where do you get the epoxy?

I don't use epoxy on PVC but I get epoxy the same place I get PCV cement, Home Depot.

PVC Cement is safe for aquarium use, and the best product for attaching PVC pipe to PVC fittings. Also, be sure to use the Purple PVC Primer or the Clear PVC primer, otherwise you'll risk having leaks. I purchase cement and purple primer at Lowe's and both solvents are manufactured by Oatey.
