What type of lense do you use?

Hello all...
I'm so in the dark about photgraphy.
I want to start taking pics of my aquarium. I have a digital camera (Canon digital Rebel XT), but no idea what type of lense I should purchase.
Any suggestions out there?

I have the Rebel XT too. My favorite lens for tank shots is the 75-300. The 8MP images can be cropped and enlarged without losing image quality. When it comes to the extreme close-ups like with corals I like to switch to manual focus on a tripod to get the sharpest images possible. For quickly moving fish turn on the flash and shoot at an angle to the glass to avoid glare.
Its a sweet camera isn't it!

Thanks..
Ya, love the camera... but I don't want to buy expensive lenses I'd end up not using! Thanks for the recomendations!

The ef/af lenses interchange so you can buy a used ef lens at a pawn shop or camera shop. And if you find you're not happy with one they are easy to get rid of as they fit all the film and digital EOS cameras with autofocus. I even read that the film versions are crisper than the ones designed and sold as digital. Wife is a photographer as well so most of my info comes from her experience.

Hmm.. sweet! Never even thought of a pb. I've been watching fleebay, but they seem to be a high commodity there.
