what type of paint

I was wondering what type of paint to use to paint the back of the tank. Would I use spray paint of a brush on? :notsure: Water base or what? :notsure:

Use spray paint. You can you use any kind of spray paint you want to.

Concur, enamel and laquer are pretty lusterous.

I like krylon paint. Lots of colors and it doesn't scrape off of glass that easily.

You can also get Minwas Polycrylic coating to put on after that. Get high gloss. It's a crystal clear sealer that'll waterproof the paint. Actually, water won't ever touch the paint.

i took a piece of plexi glass and painted it black and taped it to the back of my 90 gallon and after the algae covers the back i can remove the plexi glass very easy with no mess

Thats a good idea, Im going to do the same thing. Now in the future I can put the tank sideways. Bye-bye paint.
