well i think i will try instant ocean when i get more salt this week . it seems to me its what most people use and its a little cheaper. no one has any trouble with it.thanks for the great response and input.

I use red sea salt. I have been happy with it so far. Only used it for 3 months.

I personally feel that the brand of saltmix is not as important as many other factors that we have some control over.
Even the best saltmix is "junk" if mixed with poor quality freshwater, and the salinity, pH temperature and other water quality parameters are not monitored and controlled.
