Blue Chromias - suggested by LFS - 1 has lived through lots and all the brothers and sisters died. I guess I won't get rid of this tough guy.

cleaner wrasse named surfin sam. Why? Because I read somewhere that they were a great fish to have to keep parasites off other fish.
Had him for several weeks until I fed the tank it's first batch of live brine shrimp. The next morning, everything in the tank was dead (about 6 fish).

A pair of Percula clowns. I began this hobby wanting solely to own a pair of Percs. Here I am no 2 years later with all sorts of tangs, angels, and triggers! Funny how that happens huh?

2 blue damsels to cycle the tank. Once that was done, I added a firefish and a psychedelic mandarin. The firefish was killed within 2 days, and the mandarin ended up starving. This was over 10 years ago.
Damn LFS' bad advice.

false perc, and I still have him 4 years later. He is pretty tough because he survived allot of my ignorance in the first year. Bought him because it was the photos of clownfish in anemones that always drew my attention to saltwater. Never bought an anomone but he lives happily in a large green hammer coral.

My percula clownfish was my first fish and is still with me.
I still don't understand why so many don't consider damsels "real" fish. Last time I looked, they were living, breathing animals. I have several damsels and I consider them just as highly as my other fish. It is hardly the fishes fault that they display their normal behavior.

A pair of false perc clowns. I chose them because they were hardy and I like watching how they wiggle back and forth when they swim.
