What would be causing my snails to die?

Over the last two weeks i have had about five turbo snails die, they just seem to not want to stick to anything and they end up dead

what could be causing this? i have checked my water levels and they are what they should be at.

Judging from the size and maturity of your tank, I'd say starvation. The population of such creatures will adjust to what the environment will sustain. BTW IMO, 1.025 is a bit on the high side except for shallow dwelling or high light requiring livestock.

I agree with starvation based on the behavior you identified.
The other possibility is copper from using tap water. I don't know your water source though.
Your Salinity is fine.
** edit - One more possibility is osmotic shock from a rapid change in salinity. This can happen during a large water change or during a topoff if you don't topoff very often.

they also do not handle changes in water conditions very well. are they dying when you do your water changes? if so, make sure your ph in your water is as close to your ph in your tank, and nitrates dont have huge swings.
the large mexican turbos are a lot hardier, but eat a lot more than the astrea snails and smaller turbo snails. i've lost about 5 astrea snails compared to only 1 mexican turbo.

Then there is the simple answer that they are one of the many snails that falls off the glass and can not upright themselves. So they die. I guess that would be starvation though.
