OK, go ahead, yes I know it's a stupid question lol. Ive been a member of this site for years but this is actually my first post in probably 5 of those years. I've had a 75 gal with two 250 metal halides that held the same kind of corals GREAT. This time around though, I'm starting up another one from scratch and it's been a while since I've indulged myself in the hobby so I need some tips on getting started in the right direction. I sold mostly all my equipment for my 75 a couple years back due to financial difficulties and lack of time for upkeep. A saltie is a saltie forever though, and I can't stay away from it any longer! I'm looking to have mostly soft corals in there with an anemone and some maximas if at all possible. DUH yes I know metal halides but what wattage and where would be a good place to shop for one? I'm only twenty three so my funds aren't out of this world but I do have money to spare so I'd love to hear some feedback PLEASE! The tank I have isn't even set up yet and is still in the brainstorming stage so any advice on anything would be greatly appreciated... I've got an excalibur skimmer with a marineland hang on back 3 stage filter fit for a tank twice the size of my own. Thats it. So I still need other equipment before I even start this thing up. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out!! Thank you in advance!
