What would you do for a closed loop if you were me?

I've got an Oceanic 75g RR coming in about a week. I plan to add the Durso Standpipe and I've got 2- 3/4" Sea Swirls sitting here. I plan on adding 1 Sea Swirl to the return pipe, but I'd like to incorporate the other Sea Swirl into a closed loop. How exactly should I do this?

So, you are saying put both Sea Swirls on the closed loop instead of putting one on my return line? Could you guys expand on those ideas? Can you give me specifics as far as what materials/equipment to use?

Thanks Richard but there is no metal, I *think* what you're talking about are the copper colored celcon valves on the original manifold. Celcon is saltwater safe type of heavy-duty plastic. I did change the original manifold design to 1" ball valves from those 3/4" gate valves though.

Wow, that's a little more elaborate than what I need. I'd like to make this as simple as possible. I'm even willing to drill if it's affordable.

Is there any reason why I would NOT want to have the tank drilled (noise, maintenance, etc.)?? If I do decide to take the tank up to my local glass shop to have it drilled, can you tell me EXACTLY what size hole(s) to drill, where exactly to put them, and how many for a simple closed loop system. I want to use the 2 Sea Swirls and my RR overflow and return in the most effective way.

So, do you have to do anything to the pipe besides hook it all together?

What is this about a "T" at the top with a threaded cap that I've heard some people talk about?

So, is that what I'm seeing in the second pic? Is that needed so you can fill the pipe with water, or what?
