He's right they are going to be all over that guy. Gonna be worth a lot of money until A-Rod beats the hr record in a few years.

I would keep it for 6-8months and let the offers escalate until they approached ridiculous, then sell it. I would then own my very own very nicely set up reef shop.

you're not going to turn around to a multi-millionaire and say, "here's this ball that's worth $2 million, you take it, I don't need it". I just don't buy it. of course, you can SAY you'd say that, I just don't believe it.
as far as proving the authenticity of the ball, back when McGwire and Sosa were chasing after Maris, the balls were printed with an invisible ink that could be seen under a red scanner light so that the authenticity could be proven.

Well, my son already has a signed Barry Bonds ball and a Hall of Fame bat of his and a couple of Willie Mays signed balls, but because of having the privilege of meeting Barry, I would offer it back to him. It would still have a great payoff I'm sure. And, so you know, they are using chipped balls so that they would scan the ball to know it was the one he hit! And Barry, already said he would be there for A. Rod, if and when he breaks his record.

I voted give it back. But I'd sell it back to him. He'd have priority over other bidders, but a ludicrous one would take it.
