What Would You Do In My Situation???

to tell you the truth all of my friends went down to Cabo San Lucas. It is like the U.S. in a way where there are tons of English speaking people and you can make a descent living year around. But like the first advisor said you need to save up enough to get you by for a year in case things do not work out but i am sure in Cabo that things will. Make sure that there are available jobs there you can go on the internet and find out what hotels are hiring and what qualifiactions are needed. i would definatley go somwhere where the people speak a language that you understand or you will probably not do well on your own. another thing if you can find someone anyone that will go with you and watch your back there are a lot of contries that do not like the U.S. and being in that situation alone can be very scary. P.S. and for how much I would plan on ten grand ($10,000.00)
and yes vacation there first to plan out your move, where your going to live, job interviews, and do you like it.

thanks for all the post's im going to look into that island like you said and im also looking into being a diver of some sort maybe like a diving instructor and marine welder something along those lines

May not be exactly what you are talking about but I worked with a guy before that did underwater welding. You can only do it for 3 years I believe for health issues but can make piles of cash in those 3 years. He only worked about 6-9 months a year after that. I would think that jobs in Cabo or St. Marteen, may be good,, there are probably tons of kids that want those also so they may be harder to get than you are planning.

so what other diving professions could i go into??? if anyone knows ive always just loves being under the water its so peacefull and i wouldnt want to be anywhere else even if pay wasnt that great

Instead of being on the island waitng for cruise ships you could work on one. That way you wouldnt be stuck in one place and would get to see alot of places. I know on my cuises they had scuba instructors and also scuba/snorkel guides just for the people on the ship(they traveled with the ship not like the excursion kind) just my ideas

yea ive also notice that on the cruise ships. i dont know really what im going to do the world seems so big but yet there seems like all the jobs you want are already taken, does anyone know any website that just talk about salaries of jobs and job descriptions???
