I was just giving a suggestion...
Does it need to look like a hippo tang, or can it just be some wild looking awesome fish?

He is somewhat right, it is slightly harder to keep. The difference is pretty negligible.
But the Flame is a much better candidate for your tank size than a blue/hippo tang.
Good Luck!

But make sure you have the proper system to support it.

I have heard that fish is a bit hard to keep because they need huge amounts of live rock and an established tank. I have a cb that is an absolutle love, she is a bit bold, but the color on her is awsome!!! she doesn't sit still for a pic, I have tried many times, best I can do! :jumping:

I also love tangs and all the color and personality they give a tank...
One fish I really like that has tons of personality and is stunning to watch IMO
is the foxface aka rabbitfish...
Check them out, they are easy to keep, like most tangs they love algae and are
constantly nibbling away, and have stunning colors.
Yes they do have venomous spines, but that also gives them another wow feature.
I have had one in my 135 now for about 8 months, and it is one of my favorites.
It can be a little shy at times and skittish, but it swims so fast around the tank at
times, its truly wonderful to watch.
My foxface now has buddied up with a scopas tang I recently added, and its fun
to watch them always snacking on the algae on the rocks together.
Good luck, David

Foxface like a tang, get way too big for a 55. If you want a fish that is bright but easy to care for consider a royal gramma, some blue green chromis, perhaps a yellow watchman.

They require a lot of liverock, approx. 100 lbs and an established tank...
If
you have that, they are very fun to watch...
