WHAts a good skimmer under $200. is super skimmer 65 good for a 40g

The super skimmer is your best bet for under $200.
You should at least entertain the option of AquaC, Euro-Reef, My Reef Creations, though. They are very good skimmers, and with skimmers you get what you pay for.

superskimmer 65. I have one and love it to death. Does much more than my aqua C.
Then it broke. I called Coralife, they sent me a brand new skimmer no questions asked. I love that company.

I have a Euro-Reef and love it. I paid just over $200.00, but I think it is worth it. A skimmer is one place I would not "go cheap" on. I did what so many people did (and warned me about) and bought a Sea Clone. After about 6 months I bought a Euro and the difference it made was huge. Plus the Euro is virtually plug-and-play. Also consider where you are going to place it, hang on back, sump. That sort of thing. Hope this helps!
