What's a Good Thermometer to Buy?

Can you guys recommend a good thermometer that works better in the tanks? I have 2 different floating thermometers in my tank, plus my chiller temperature reading, and they all read different things. Then I get confused as to which reading to rely on.
I need something that's more accurate and trustable.

Have you tried a digital one? There are a few out there, i use a coralife that I picked up for like 10 bucks... it's got a 56 inch corded probe so you can put it pretty much anywhere. The temp reading appears to be pretty accurate... but I don't really know how to test that.

As far as accuracy is concerned, most of them out there are at least accurate to the nearest half of a degree, good enough. It's just the reading I don't trust. One says 78F one says 80F, so which is it?

Hiya,
I bought one that sticks to the side of my glass. I've had it for two days....absolutely NO reading, and I know the temp in the tank has changed. It went from freezing cold, to nice and warm. I'm hoping not TOO warm.
I'm going to have to relook into a digital. My LFS didn't have any so I went with the stick on.
