well i have my tank cycling right now........i decided to go with 4 in fiji livesand,25 pds fiji LR,Tonga LR 25, and 25 pds of Lalo LR. As of right now my buddy ogt a green carpet anomes in his hospital tank...he got it for free from a guy who is moving.....he does not wanbt it and is willing to give it to me for free once my tank is cycled and has been established for a couple of months. i really like it and i want it...but it changes my orginal plan......i know i want this anomes and a red general star fish......i was just wondering how big do they get....so far the anone is about 6 inches and what can i keep with them......and does any clownfish inhabit in carpet anomes. im hoping for a pair of tomatoclowns, watchtower goby, and a flock of green chromis maybe 4-6. and some snails, conch, crabs and shrimps. if anyone sees a problem with this setup let me know and my tank is 75 gallons. thank you

Anemones are very hard to keep, especially as a beginner. I think we all have had our experiences with anemones at one time or another. When I first started I added a beautiful purple anemone and it died a few weeks later. I later found out that my lighting and tank stability were no where near what they needed to be. Basically, what I am saying is that you really need to do your research about anemones to make sure that the animal will not waste away in your tank. My tank is now almost 2 years old and is maturing very nicely. I have over 40 different kinds of corals and some of the best hardware I can find. I have 440 watts of lighting and I still would not put an anemone in my tank. Because I don't feel that it would live very long in captivity.

I can't give you details on how to care from experience. I do believe that they tend to get a little too aggressive, at times to your clownfish also. Meaning make a meal of them. Correct me if I am wrong. I would be concerned with the starfish also. Not 100% sure, so I will bump this for you.
