i want to add a small cortez stingray to a 24 gallon tank, with virtually nothing else, but i want an urchin in there with it.
now, the compatibility charts i've found say rays are NOT compatible with inverts, but does that mean ALL inverts???
would a small ray really go after a venemous, spiny urchin? thanks!

You should never put a ray in a 24g that is way to small, rays need plenty of swimming room, i wouldnt have a ray in a tank smaller then 75g, with no LR just plenty of LS. Even with the Ray being small right now, it will out grow the tank fast. i dont think you would have a problem with the ray and an urchine

well the store told me this species of ray (cortez, mex) won't get more than 3.5" in diameter, and if i dont have other fish, only corals and a couple inverts, it would have enough swimming room and oxygen. thank you for the advice though!

yep, max. size is about 14" across. there isn't a ray small enough for a 24gal tank.
