I love breakfast for dinner, too...though I'd pass on the sausage gravy, thanx.
We're having chicken legs, brussel sprouts, and salad. Healthy. Followed by Breyers Strawberry ice cream milkshakes. ;-)

I'm not quite far enough out in the sticks to shoot a gun in my back yard, but I do target shoot with my bow, much to my neighbors dismay.
My parents live on the otehr side of town and have 15 acres, they have a full 100 yard rifle range with benches and targets set up out there :)
I take most of my game with a bow now, it's just alot more fun and actually if you know how to shoot a bow really well its more humane on the animal than a rifle as hard as that seems to be to beleive.

Moose burgers on the grill
Moose is awesome
I need to visit Alaska, it seems so cool, get of SUBURBIA.
Suburbia isn't nearly as fun as horses in a field and coyotes in a field, shooting guns and bows in your back yard, geese in your pond......
Al, i envy him too.

You must be one hell of a good shot with a bow...

LOL, nothing to write home about.
The kill zone on a moose is roughly the size of a huge pumpkin.
if you can't hit that at 20,30 or 40 yards you need alot more practice.
I'm actually going to be getting some flu flu arrows and trying my luck on grouse this fall, that should be a challange :)

I killed a bull moose in Canada 20+years ago. Poor shot, never hit a vital organ, but it still didn't move more than 10 yards. If this was a white tail, you'd be lucky to find it.

ya know I've seen 2 shots in my life like that where it was a poor shot and the arrow/bullet actually defelcted intot he spine or blew a chunck out fo a rib ection that got into the spine.
Wierd things can happen for sure. Hopefully whenever an animal is taken it ends quickly for them
