Whats going on with my anenome

OK I just read the full thread, and If you don't improve your lighting I would say that your anemone is going to die. When Ritteri move up the glass is normal...they crave light and lots of it, the do it in nature also, getting as cloes to the top as possable, but condi's are shallow reef dwelling, and usely don't move much. Throw some new lights (PC, VHO, MH) and it should be happy. By the way here is a pic of a ritteri.

Hey everyone - cut the guy some slack. He is asking for help here. Some have offered it and have given really good advice, but some are coming on just a tad bit strong.
The anemone is not necessarily dying. Anemones have one opening, and release waste through the same opening they take in food with. When they do this, they expel the water inside them. Then they take in more water, and re-inflate. In the second pic, it looks like it is doing just that.
The effectiveness of the lighting also depends on distance from that light. While 80w is not really all that much, supplementing with meaty foods regularly can help to counter not having enough light. Try squid chunks, silversides, scallop, etc...something meaty, several times a week. I also supplement with a liquid invertebrate formula every so often as well.
As to the lighting, IMO, you have more actinic than necessary. You have 1 - full actinic, and 1 50/50. The problem is the spectrum. True actinic is a good bulb to have, but a 50/50 only generally puts out 6000k intensity. I would personally replace one of those bulbs with a 10000k or 20000k bulb. Of course, ideally, a full upgrade would be best, but without that, at least increase your intensity.
There is one thing I have not seen asked, or given here. What are your water parameters like? Ammonia? Nitrites? Nitrates? Temp? pH? Alkalinity?
Also what kind of current do you have in the tank? Anemone's need current.

how old is your tank. Your condi doesn't look healthy. Keep an eye on the water para because if he dies he will become toxic quick.

i have a BTA and about a month ago he moved to the back of the tank and i thought i died. i let it sit there for a couple of days and then it moved to the front of the tank. my lfs said something could of irritated likea water change, or my levels, now it is doing just fine and its almost about 6incehs in diameter. i have poor lighting and im looking to buy better but i only have a 30watt corlife bulb running this and its doing ok. just give it time. when was your last water change, sg?
