what's going on with my perc?

I recently got (what seems to be) a pair of clownfish. My female has an enlarged belly and the male has hovered over the same spot for 2 days. He hasn't eaten in 4 days. She stays close but sometimes ventures off. Is it normal for him to be so unresponsive? They are not "cleaning" the rock but staying very close to a hole in the side of a rock. The hole is mid way up, not on the base of the rock. My question is, is he sick or is he getting ready for the blessed event? Thanks

He's standing gaurd over the female. Kinda like "Finding Nemo". Let me know how this turns out. I've got a mated pair also and I'm just waiting for the result.

I'm sorry to report that he died. He wouldn't eat and his breathing was fast, other than that he looked fine. I don't know what happened. I am devistated!
