All my Turbo shells are becoming empty. Are they dieing then the crabs (2) are eating them. Or are the Pep Shrimp eating them? Why are they dieing? All I find is their empty shells. So annoying. I am almost positive I do not have a Mantis, so you don't have to suggest that.
I don't know what type, just thought they were "Turbos". Anyway, can't be starvation, PLENTY algae for them to eat. They do like hair algae right? Got some of that. Trust me.

if mexican then the #1 cause of death is starvation.
Very true ..... Plus the fact they're cooler water snails.

they are not that big. But I have seen them eating the snails before. I am just wondering if they are killing and eating or are they dieing then the crabs are eating them.

If you don't supply empty shells for crabs to move into as they grow they will kill snails for their "house"
I'm shipping these guys off. They suck, they do nothing other than create these stupid problems. They had plenty opportunities to move into bigger shells and didn't. I think they are just hungry.

+1 The crabs are worth keeping. Did you maybe just see crabs eating a snail that was already dead?
