Hi everyone, I have been reading the forums here for quite awhile and finally decided to make the plunge into saltwater. :jumping:
Anyway...First i'll let you know everything i have....55 gallon tank....58lbs lr, 60lbs ls, standard PC Coralife Lighting
Well today I recieved my first shipment from here....everyhing came in GREAT condition and I was very impressed. All the water parameters are great:
Nitrate at 0 and No mesurable ammonia or nitrite. pH is 8.2, temp 79, SG 1.023
Well kept the lights off after acclimating/putting everything into the tank....after a few hours I turned the lights on and was delightfully surprised to see my new green ricordea mushroom plump up and open to a beautiful green color. Looking at it now, after the lights have gone off for the night the Ricordea has a large bump in it (see picture attached). What in the world is this???
Thanks for your help!
Sorry about the color...only had the actinics on...hopefully that is ok for you all to see!
