Here's what I have in my 65, and I think this a great combo. Very peacefull and the fish always stay out in plain view;
1) Blk Occelaris clown
1) Tru Percula
1) Tailspot Blenny
1) Hi-fin Banded Shrimpgoby w/Randall's pistol shrimp
1) Firefish Goby
1) Rainfords Goby
Still waiting on the Yellow Assessor (this fish has been VERY hard to find)
There is never any chasing or harrasment in this tank other than the typical boy/girl clown behaviour that they exhibit amongst themselves(they never bother any of the other fish). The clowns are hosting a BTA and only go to the nem at night to sleep. during the day they are always swimming around and mingling with the other fish and never bother the other fish if they get to close to the nem.
I love the Tailspot blenny, very outgoing and comical to watch. He is one of the smaller blennies.
The Hi-fin/Randall's pistol has turned out really great. They have made thier burrow together at the front of the tank and the Goby keeps a watch for feeding time. These guy's normally dont stay out much but in this tank the goby comes out whenever I'm in the room and the pistol shrimp feels secure enough for an occasional walk across the tank.
What to say about the firefish other than he brings a splash of color to the tank? He's a great fish and goes greatly with the other fish.
The Rainford's goby was a transplant from my 210. the 210 had a Hectori goby that did not want the Rainfords company so I had to move him. This is a great fish as well, but dont chose this fish if your planning on a Mandarin.
Part of my original stocking plans included a Dwarf angel and Fairy wrasse as the the last additions but as the stocking started I quickly learned that I did not want to disrupt the harmony in this tank and have excluded them.
I really enjoy this tank. Everyone gets along great. Just pure fun to sit and observe.
