I actually looked into purchasimg a leafy sea dragon, they are found in Australia but it is not permitted to export them. However it's possible to get a special permit. (so I was told when I inquired) The cost..... $10.000.00 + They require the same water quality and temperature of the potbelly seahorse. They will eat just about everything except live mysis shrimp....I'm also sure they won't eat frozen foods. The most expensive fish I ever purchsed was my potbelly seahorses for $145.00 each.

Leafy Sea Dragons are about $10,000. They are incredibly beautiful though and just about worth that price.
LOL...I winced at $145.00 plus shipping... when I paid for the potbelly horses $10.000.00...no, I don't think any fish no matter how awesome is worth that much unless you run the Shed Aquarium or the like, and purchasing it for the public to see.

Exactly. Then it is easier to purchase that 10,000 permit as well. I love Shedds by the way. They do have a leafy sea dragon (I assume you knew that though, based on the post). I have been to a lot of aquariums, but Shedds is still my favorite.
