to aim the damn weapons in Halo 2. I've always played first person shooters on a PC where you use the mouse and I kick royal hindend in Medal of Honor. But, I can't aim the weapon with XBOX controller to save my life. I started to get a little better a few hours into it, but I'm starting to believe that the gene required to do this only exist in people under a certain age and I think I'm past it. :nervous:

Your not alone Tangman. I figure it's not age it's TIME. When you get to a point in life were you don't have all day to sit and play these games your done. I stick to the EA sports games because I can be good without giving up my day job and spending time with the family.
I'm not a golf nut but I enjoy 2005 Tiger woods golf. You should rent it you would not belive the work just to hit the ball and keep a good spin on it. Also the EA sports Madden 2005 is really good.OH OH and Nascar Chase for the cup:jumping:

I dont know what to tell you about the controller issue, but i sure as hell cant play a good game of Halo without my trusty controller s. I forgot it at my friends house this one time, and i tried to play without it with a DIFFERENT one. Lets just say i didnt whoop my friend as hard as i could've, lol. Im SICK!!!!!! Yea, anyway, i personally like controllers better but it is definitely easier to aim with a joystick...

you will get better....
I used to suck at using controllers for quake when it came out for playstation...
Its hard at first. It helps to adjust the sensitivity... if you can on xbox.

I agree, which is why I stick to PC. My hands start aching when I play with my son's ps2 control. LOL
Face it Tang, we are ancient folks trying to keep up with the kids.

Oh well, I'm screwed!
I'm actually getting better. I found I do a lot better when I don't think about it as much.

I've found that as I get older, I like my video game controllers and women the same way. Less complicated and with a lot less buttons that need pushing.

Tang man, Have you tried playing with the controller being inverse?? Where up is down and down is up?? I know it sounds silly but it helps me, kinda like driving a tank. And yea eventually you'll get the hang of it and kick ---, Even tho i still think Halo 1 is 10x better than 2.
Beth...im in the same boat, the ps2 buttons are way small and hurts ma thumb wen i play for a long time, but then i get carpal tunnel from playing on the pc too.....ahhh the things we do for entertainment.....
