I believe that a Precision Marine Bullet is right up there with the Euroreef. Though I have no personal experience with them, I have never heard anything but praise about them.
My 100 display/25 sump/55 refugium has a EuroReef CS6-2...cost a bit more than some of the others...but it works like a beast!
Based on my experience I'd vote for a EuroReef. You could always decide on another brand...but then you wouldn't have a EuroReef...
Remora with a pump upgrade (MJ 1200) or Remora pro with the Mag3 upgrade depending on the size tank you are using it on. I would also recommend the preskimmer box. These skimmers only do so much. I use a PMS bullet in my sump and love it!!

Any properly adjusted skimmer will adequately skim your tank - there's absolutely no need to go with Euroreef. They are good - don't get me wrong. But I've had good luck with my ETS700 and my Excalibur SV1 - both at completely opposite ends of the spectrum and both work very well.
IE: Adjusted, well designed and efficient skimmers don't have to cost an arm and a leg.
I have had a good handful of skimmers including bakpaks, excalibers, pro clear aquatics, ext but none have even touched the performance of my ASM(Euroreef knockoff). Absolutly amazing, i will never own anything different.
Hmm in a previous post someone stated any skimmer well maintained will be fine. Id have to disagree with that. Not all skimmers are created equal or work equally as well. They do bring up a good point though that some are lower maint. than others. I switched to euroreef and will cant believe the difference. Yes they are pricey but sometimes u get what u pay for, low maint, easy to adjust/setup and works like nothing else i have seen.
