whats the diff with banded serp/brittle star

hi all looking to get a star for a cuc. putting in a fowlr with a lunar wrasse that has all but killed off the hermits (expected). so i need somthing that will scavrange the sand surface. i use nass snails to stir the bed and clean it but they never come up to the surface ( probly cause they know the wrasse is up there.) i currently also have a marble star (formina) but thats it for inverts. i have been told that a banded serpent/brittle star are good for cuc, but have also heard that the green brittle is a fish eater. i know that the banded and the grenn are different, however i have also heard say that the banded brittle will kill fish. is this the case? of are they confusing different kinds of brittle stars. also is the only difference between a banded serpent and banded brittle the spikes/fur on the legs or is one more aggessive that the other. thanks

It depends on size, I saw a green star that was huge, It had a beak and would wrap it's arms around fish and it it with it's beak. So yes and no.
