Okay I'll ask the question, do the polyps open and close - pulse - or just open up?
Would agree from the family Family Xeniidae though. Could be a Xenia or an Anthelia.

Yes if it likes your set up... then it will spread like wildfire. Basically if you have strong lighting it will love you... so-so lighting it will stretch out seeking more and will live.. but not spread or grow much.

Well hopefully it will spread. Mine coral isnt that big. I want it to cover that rock its on.
 
i had no luck with pulsing xenia my first try, but i love how it looks so maybe when it grows more ill buy a frag off ya?

looks like white pom-pom xenia. a shorter kind of xenia. yours looks good and healthy. feed it marine snow, cyclopeese, etc.
