You need to get yourself test kits for Ammonia. Nitrites and Nitrates. The Ammonia will spike then the Nitrites and then Nitrates will increase. Once Ammonia and Nitrites become zero your cycle will be over and you can do your first 10% water change to bring down the nitrates.
After the cycle you'll want Alk and PH test kits and if your planing to have a reef calcium and phosphate kits you'll want as well.

Yea I already have test kits, and Ive been doing the 10% water change.
So if amonia is 0 does that mean it has alrdy been cycled?
