whats the right anemone

Hi i am all new to saltwater. I just finished cycleing my tank and ready to order some percula clown fish. what types of annemones can i use with these guys.
Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to tell us what kind of lighting you have in your tank before we can help with the anemone question... It is pretty dependant on that.

Anemones are extremely hard to keep alive in a tank, and over harvestin is having a negative effect on clown fish breeding in the wild. I would not recomend getting one till you have a few years of swf keeping under your bealt. If you do have to get on try to get a tank propogated Bubble Tip Anemone, just about everything will host in them. Some percs can be picky, and will only host in Malu's and Ritteris, neither of which I would recommend for anything but a very experienced aquarist. Try a hairy mushroom. Very hardy and clown fish often host in those if there is no anemone present. Good luck, and wlecome to the board

Wait a while longer before getting an anemone. The clownfish would be alright without one. Wait until you have had your tank 6 months longer from now. Tell us more about your tank too.
