The site has them for sale and states they are good for fuges and that they lower nitrates. Anyone know anything about them? If they do lower nitrates, I wonder how many it would take to make a difference?
What's the story on the cleaner clam?

All I know (not experience) is that they dont live long. Try a search here. It was just mentioned in a post a few weeks back, I believe. HTH

Well, for 6 bucks, guess ya can't expect much. Probably takes 100 of them to lower nitrates 10ppm......in a month. I actually went ahead a bought one and stuck him ( or her... ) in my fuge. It's disappeared now:notsure:
