what's this brown stuff?

My tank has been up for about 2-3 weeks. I have a snail & hermit in there that popped out of my LR. My Ammonia/nirtrite are 0. PH is normal Nitrate is 10. I have this brown looking stuff starting to grow on one of LR and some spots on my sand. Kinda ugly looking. Just wondering what this may be? I used primed tap water. Will this go away on its own? I cant post a pic so any suggestions as what this may be would be helpful so i can look it up and compare. Thanks in advance

Sounds like diatoms.
It's pretty common in new tanks and usually goes away after a while.

You might want to use RO water instead of tap water to help reduce diatoms.
