Whats this white stuff??

This white form was on my LR when purchased. It got duller in color, almost unnoticeable. Now its getting brighter and pure white.It seems to be embedded in the rock, like it was poured on and seeped in.Growing very slowly in size.

I have the same thing, and was told that there is white coraline and that is probably what it is. I have had mine for about 3 years now.

i have that too! but lighter brown in colour...seems to grow very slowly on LR...
very cool.

Thanks for the help. I didnt question its origin at first cause it seemed to be going away,,,now its "happy" and growing again.

I have it too - i was told its the "skeleton" of coraline...dead coraline..

The white form is soft,,made an impression with fingernail in it.
