I have 100+ pounds of live rock in my 55 reef. Part of the fun of having live rock seems to be that you sometimes get more than you bargined for. I have two new "things" growing on my rock, and I'd like to know what they are, good or bad before it spreads. The first "thing" is about the size of a dime, is gray in color, looks like a dome, is attatched to a rock with little gray hairs coming out of it. The second "thing" is a fleshy mass of light purple attatched to a rock, with little 1" arms growing out of it. The ends of the arms branch into a Y. I'd like to know what these things are, and if their bad, why and how to get rid of them. Thanks

Hey,
I have one of those dome shaped sponges that hitched onto some lr. I don't know about the other one you described.
