whats up ith my toadstool?

got a big toadstool around 5 inches a couple weeks ago.it was doing good for the first week.now it is looking kinda limp.i have moved it 3 times.and he is no better.i have over 40 different corals and clams of all kinds and all are growing out of hand.seems the toadstool is a biginer coral.what gives?the is no rotting on it yet but have no idea what to try next.its been on the bottom,middle and now top of the tank.

STOP moving it!!!!!! It is probably getting ready to shed....it needs a moderate amount of flow on it

limp is different from shedding. Limp could possibly be "melting" caused by another corals chemical warfare. I've seen it before where a leather coral will melt away because of sponges too close to it... Anyways, just a thought.

i called the fish store .he asked is it shinny? yup he said the same thing meowser.could be two weeks.it is upright now.so i will just leave it alone.1st toadstool.

I used to have problems with my toadstool doing what you are describing. Now I have it in my 40 breeder with two nano PH's behind it. It has a lot of flow around it and it looks really healthy - it is probably about 10 or 12 inches in diameter - it has real good extentions as well.
