What's up with my Blonde Naso Tang?

I bought a blonde naso tang three days ago. In the store, he was swimming around and doing fine. The pet store owner told me he was eating well and seemed healthy. I get him home and he's not eating, and he's hovering around in the same spot. I really don't think it's an acclamation issue cause I acclimated him for around and hour. He doesn't seem sick, there are no spots and his fins and body look fine. I read to try to intice him to eat to get brine shrimp and he did go for it some but he takes a bite or two and he's done. I'm trying veggie flakes and emerald entree but he don't go for that either. any suggestions? thank you.

1) Never believe what the lfs tells you. I have been in lfs's before and literally seen employees cutting open bags of new shipments, dropping them in the holding tanks, then customers come in and purchase the fish. So possiblility number one is that he is straight from the wild and is very scared.
2) Start first with some algea sheets. If he is straight from the ocean, then you need to put the algea on a clip, cut it up into tiny strips and drop it near the bottom in the rocks. This will make it more natural looking.
I would focus more on algea sheets and greens right now instead of meaty foods. Naso's love algea and prefer this over brine, mysis and other meaty foods.

Look for "Julian Springs" brand "green seaweed". It's made by "Two Little Fishes Co." A 1 oz. package should be $7-$8 at a retail store. My Naso goes mad over this stuff, sometimes refusing all the other foods when I feed the other fish. During feeding time, he will let the others have all the good stuff and he will just hoover at the top because he knows that veggie clip is coming in soon...

I have a blonde naso as well it took awhile for me to get him to eat as first he wasn't interested in flakes or pellets. I try algae sheet then he started to eat a little. I heard this tang is very picky eater and sometimes you might be lucky to get one that will eat anything. Definitely try algae sheets mine only eats algae and nothing else. It just takes a few days for him to get use to the new tank but always get 4" and up I had lost a small one once and the bigger ones seem to be more hardy.

This one is a good 6" or so. Maybe I"m just inpatient. I"ll look for the julian spring brand. at this point I'm willing to try anything.
