mine took around three days. what i noticed helped was not to have the current affecting them unitl they open. just make sure that stuff doesnt build up on them. GSP are awesome. Once it gets big enough just cut the mat up and sell it back to the store. Hope this helps good luck.

the lighting should be fine on the pod because they do not need high light. im not sure is the other Brown Star Polyps. if so the brown tips may be the polyps poking outa the mat. this is not bad so dont worry. they should come out in a day or two.

They cna take a while for them to get used to their surroundings especialy fi theres movement near them it seems. Give them a day or two more. It may take them a while to come out fuly.

but you dont think i have them to close to my light. its strait under it. About 5 inch from reaching the very top of the water. o ya and i have an aquapod so im not sure if that does anything

it took mine 4 days to come out ...I finally moved it down to the bottom of the tank to minimize water flow and they popped out that night. Then I moved them back up into the flow and they are very happy there...just be patient I am sure yours will come out in there own time.

Ones out the other may just take longer :) moving it would jsut stress it and make it start over with relaxing.
