I don't recognize most the names on here anymore, and mostly ghost the reefkeeping posts, but popped my head in here and was taken a back by the negativity.
Why can't a person vote for a person without hating the other canidate? Or why can't people express why they would vote for their canidate with out trashing the other canidate?
For example I am voting for Obama because I think he has the right idea for veterans issue...McCain may be right on military issues, but not veteran issues...I also like Obamas energy and economic plans. I did however think John had the edge on Foreign Policy experience. I was almost leaning McCains way until he picked Palin. I don't want a through and through partisan anywhere near being the prez. Neither canidate is the anti-christ, and neither is the be all end all.
I just think that in this Limbaugh/O'rielly/ohlberman/franken enviroment that we lost site of normal debate, and everything is venom and hate...so it will probably two more years before I post anything again, hope the economy and the countries image is a little better before than, no matter who wins
