what's wrong with my clownfish

as soon as I put food in the tank it becomes alert and looks for amd eats food. I think this fish is maybe under the influence of marijuana

yes. seems to be the same rate as my other clownfish. I woukdent call it rapid at all but to my (untrained) salt water fish eye it looks slightly fast.

is it possible that it's pregnent? it made a small "bed" like indentation under some live rock...I know freshwater fish make beds when they're spawning

the fish seems to be breathing faster than my other clown now. I moved him to a little hang on back mesh "breeding cage" to watch him more clostly

Good idea. Do you have a hospital tank? That would be best I case it is a disease you don't want to infect the other fish. 3 weeks isn't really a long time from the time you bought him.

I really am at a loss with what could be wrong but I'm honestly a newby to this.

Hopefully someone with more experience will come along and help you out.

Sometimes fish just don't make it. Clowns are more hardy but who knows where he came from. Did you buy both clowns from same place?
