I've got a juvenile emperor in my 125, he gets along with everyone great. I have a huge damselfish, which I absolutely hate, who bitch-slapped him around the first couple days...but now he's great. Real docile with everyone. And he's beautiful!
i actually just got a juve emperor too...he is getting bullied a little by my coral beauty who happened to be introduced first. They are roughly the same size, i've only had him for a couple days now. Im hoping he toughens up and shows my coral beauty who's the boss. Right now he usually stays in hiding until it gets dark.

I've raised two Emperor's from juvi to adult and have another that is about 80% into adult colors. I think these fish are quite easy, IF their needs are met. They should be the only Angel of that size in the tank, have plenty of LR for grazing, lots of variety in the diet, and a good vitamin supplement. (Like Selcon). Lots of folks consider these fish herbivores; but they are omnivores and will eat about anything. They need meaty and algae based items and should be fed often (IMO). I've always thought that unexplainable problems with most fish come from poor collection or shipping ; I'd be very sure of the dealer and wholesaler when buying any fish, but especially juvi large Angels. Unfortunately, cyanide is still in use in places where these fish originate. Once in a while, this site has some Hawaiian Emperors and any Hawaiian fish is exceptional. (IMO; Fiji & Maldives fish are great too). If you raise one from juvi to adult, great! I think its one of the most satisfying accomplishments in our hobby. Sure not as difficult as it used to be.
