What's Your favorite coral food.

What do You use to feed Your corals besides good lighting? I have been feeding my zoanthids frozen brine from a syringe. They seem to enjoy it.
Now I have a bubble coral which seems not to be built to accept this type of feeding.
What do You use to feed such "filter feeders"?

I use DT's Phytoplankton and some Marine Snow for the corals that filter feed. But I use them in moderation, excessive use of either can cause a nutrient/algae explosion.

I've started to use a recipe found in Eric Bornemans book on Coral Reefs. It consists basically of fresh shrimp, clams, oysters, seaweed, high quality flake food, vitamins (ie Selco) and some other stuff. You blend it together and feed a teaspoon or so per day. So far it seems to be working very well.

I have blended my food as well. Chunks the right size for fish also. I usually drop it in frozen and my tang shakes it like crazy scattering it. Everything seems to come out to eat and I do it before main lights are on so corals are opened up also. Every two weeks I do a special brine shrimp on the large mouth corals to be sure they are getting some. This has worked well for a couple of months so far.

Thanks for your input.
I have been considering one of the comercial preparations. Think I will try that alternateing with a home-made mix. I have a store with a very extensive seafood counter close to me so ingredients for a frozen food are no problem.
I used to keep Discus (thinking about getting back into that) and I made food for them. Added a multi-vitamen capsule meant for humans to each batch. Is this a good idea with reef food or not? Also added a little geliten to hold the mix together.

Black Powder made by weiss products. Research is the key and this stuff is amazing your corals will explode with vibrant colors and full size. For the price it is the best stuff out there.
