I know what I think it is, but I wanna know what YOU think it is. It's about an inch long and came in on a coral I bought. Actually he appeared while I was dipping the coral.

it doesnt look like an Acoel flatworm to me, theres about five kinds of acoel that I know of and they all have an inward v shaped tail. mabie it would be easier if it was in the water atached to the glass, im also going to say a polyclad species

See Bang Guy, that right there is why we hail you as the guru.

Here's what Shimeck said...
Hi,
Well, I really don't have a clue. This type of flatworm is not identifiable visually, contrary to hobbyist lore. There are several different types of corallivorous flatworms, and aside from some of them being tannish (gold and brown also count), the only thing that distinguishes them is that they will eat corals. So... maybe. And maybe not.
Goes right along with the inability to identify most corals without some serious taxonomy, and perhaps genetic testing.
There are a whole array of animals that simply are not distinguishable by easy visual cues. Sorry

You too reefreak!! GURU!
I missed it up there, lol
And Spanko too,
But you do realize my post to Bang was (comically)sarcastic right.
I mean, polyclad narrows it down to about a million different worms, lol!
It's flat, and it's a worm, so I kinda figured polyclad, lol
I wanted to know if it was an acro eater or not.
