T-5 lights need to have individual reflectors for each bulb. I'm not familiar with Sundial fixtures. A 4x54 will go a long way on your 55. You could keep all softies,LPS, some easy SPS and maybe a Clam up high in the tank.
If you ever wanted to increase the light you could invest in a Ice Cap ballast that would boost output of each bulb to 75-80 watts. That would bring you to 300 watts of T-5 and you'd be pretty much set.
But still in the mean time you still have a nice light and could keep some nice stuff until you're ready to up grade.
