Hey all,
So I'm aware that Jebo is supposed to be on the low end as far as equipment is concerned, but it was cheap enough that I could get a nice sized setup for cheap and my intention was to upgrade later down the line.
Anywho, there's not much info that can be found online regarding the filter that came with my tank. All I was able to find was the following stats:
"Top Filter 18-20W (450 L/H)."
I'm not sure what the 18-20 could mean (posible size maybe?) but I think the 450 L/H means that it filters 450 liters of water per hour. For more descriptive info on the filter and pics, you can check out the beginning of my tank's pic thread here: https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/forum/thread/386045/my-40-gallon-tank-pic-thread.
I am just wondering when I should consider replacing this filter with a filter from a more reputable brand? Or do I even need to replace this filter at all? I am not planning on including corals in my tank at this time either. So far it isn't giving me any problems, but then again, my tank is fairly new with only 3 fish, 1 invert, and a small CuC so I don't think there is too much to filter at this point.
