When does the reefer madness end?
I just added my 40th different coral to my system. 29 of them are acro's and lucky # 40 was a blue tort.:joy: But how many is enough?
How many do you have? How many is enough for you?

There's never enough....that is why when we fill up one tank, we start on another bigger one!

Hmmm...good question. I have a 100 gal reef...25 SPS types...3 clams...several LPS...a couple of leathers...assorted zooanthids...a few misc others...probably 60 different species all together. Maybe I'll refrain from any additions for a while...give me time to frag and trade out the leathers and LPS....let the SPS grow out...maybe later add a few more carefully selected new ones.

Exactly, Beth! My 75 is still cycling, and I'm already trying to decide it I can set up another tank....

I found a good way to expand my tank/coral/fish selections and make money for maintenance on my reef....I currently do maintenance on a 280 reef...80 bow front reef...and a sweet little 29 fish only. Not gettin' rich...but it funds my addiction and allows me to expand my species list.

It ends when they start growing and taking up space...One by one you'll take out your least favorite to make room as the better ones grow out.

Thats an idea golfish.:joy:
I just bought a 100 gallon tub. Now I can stop fragging the display and have the tub for growing out all the corals for trade. I just need to frag them once more to start them all up.
