I could be way out in left field on this but I don't see why it would matter.
Your pump runs 24/7, water is always circulating, evaporation doesn't change your salinity to a great degree if water levels are maintained properly.
So if this is an established tank I don't see why it would make a big difference.
I use a Refractometer and notice no difference on my established tank.
