When it rains, it pours.......

Okay, just got home from work. I have been running since 7 am this morning. I walk in and notice my not to smart chocolate chip starfish( AKA Chunk) is on the outside of the powerhead. I looked closer and saw his insides flapping in the wind with the current on the inside of the powerhead cone. Not good. I threw my pizza down and opened my bottom stand and guess what. I smell burnt electricity. You know the smell. I flip my surge protector off. I took the front cover of the powerhead off and set it on the ground to see if Chunk will suck his guts in and crawl away. (No luck so far) Now investigating the burning smell, my surge protector is extremely hot. I unplugged everything from it and took a sniff. Yep It's fried. I hate days like this

Yup. Only thing you can do on days like this is damage control. Sorry to hear about your surge protector. Is anything else in your tank showing signs of electric shock?

Plugs and wires are all good. I am worried about Chunk. He is still stuck to powerhead protective grill.

I know. Why did he do it. Commit suicide? Lol As of right now he is still alive because he still has suckers stuck to the cover and I can see his legs moving around. At least I know one thing I am not sticking inside of a fan.
