When to add caulerpa

I'm starting a new tank and I will be cycling the tank and the refugium at the same time. Do you have to wait until after the cycle too add caulerpa to the refugium, or will it help the cycle?

You can put it in there now, it will keep the NH4 and NO2 from going quite as high and may shorten the cycle. It will grow like weeds with all that ammonia.

yes they will grow like weeds. i've had mine for just about 3 weeks... they're taking over...all the green...
