i know alot of people probably wont read this but imo a real nano is a tank 10-12 gal and smaller, im sure ill make some mad by saying that but when i had my 3 gal tank running i thought that was what a nano was, a small tank,
i see people with 24 gal tanks 29 to 34 and bigger in this forum, yeah im sure somebody will say by definition a nano tank is under blah blah blah size but to me a real nano is smaller than 12 gal, im sorry to rant but i just wnated to get that out there, well let me have it im sure its coming lol

Lol I just consider mine a nano because its 24 gallons, which I guess isnt a nano, but its not big enough to be considered a medium sized system. Plus it said nano on the box :)

I kept a 6x6x6 decoart/red sea aquavase going for 18months before transferring everything into my old 20long. The acrylic got scratched by someone watching my tanks out of town... she just HAD to scrape off the coralline and used a small glass scraper... needless to say I was very angry...

Dont listen to the company. Theyre just lying to you. They put NANO on the ox to market their product!
A nano is 12g and smaller!

No... nano is when you take a jar from ikea and hook up airline tubing in there because there's no room to put a filter or pump on it... hahahaha.

well i knew i was going to get somekind of replies, i dont really care its just really cool to see a "small" reef tank going in a "small" tank
i only have my 37 gal reef going atm but i do plan on running a 10 and my 3 gal soon, i hope, i know my 37 gal tank is "small" to alot of you but it still is too big imo for a nano tank just my two cents

Nah, the word nano is pretty vague, but pico is most definitely a 5.5 or smaller! That's a pretty straight across the board definition.
