So you will have 3 nanos then

ok well what is the OFFICIAL sizes of a nano tank then, my 37 gal i dont consider it to be a nano ,nor a large tank either, so since you know what size an nano is no longer a nano then tell me and i will be more than happy to call my tank a nano if it falls into that category which im sure it will, im not really trying to be a smartass but thats what i get i guess

50 gallons or less is considered a NANO

just outta curiosity why does it matter what is considered a nano or not, in the end its about how cool your tank looks whether it be a 220 gallon monster or a 400ml water rock and sand baby
meh just bored and avoiding astronomy reading

Dude... Dont be making fun of my 40g nano...

Nah I am with you man. If your tank doesn't suck down top off water like its going out of style, then its not a nano.

According to Wiki answers "Any tank smaller than 20 gallons or 80 litres is considered a nano tank."
According to Grant Lubbock (don't know who he is) at Marine Depot "Reef aquarists generally define the nano as an aquarium of 20 gallons or less."
According to Jeff Yeramian (don't know who he is) at Fish Profiles"Typically, a Nano can be as small as 1 gallon (although some may be as small as one quart) to about 20 gallons. "
According to Chris Brightwell "Any reef aquarium that contains less than 15 gallons of water is considered a nano-reef aquarium."

I did some searching on what size is considered a nano and came up with these. Don't know the names, (except Chris Brightwell author of the Nano Reef Handbook) but they have articles on some reef related sites.
