Darth, hard to believe you ever walked away because a know-it-all intimidated you. Huh? I'm thinking that's just an excuses for not participating in the hobby forums.
Were you referring to Astro Wars game?
RG was rather high profile and he was also underage for this forum. The decision was made by admin that he should be restricted from participation here. Hopefully, he'll be coming back in 3 more years!! I'd look forward to talking to him again, and seeing how he is progressing in the hobby.

intimidated me is the wrong term. more like greatly irritated myself. my unorthodox set ups take to long to esplain how I achieved success. as well as due tto my persona i am less likely to be considered over others. add to that tghere are some aspects of my past tanks I cant explain how they worked or why. they just did. besides......would you take advice from a guy that went a whole year without changing my seahorse tanks water........unorthodoxed. also designed to do that..due to live rock types and filtration involved.
yes, I still am very much involved in astrowars.

Oh, someone asked me why I am looking forward to January. Well, I work in retail and the holidays are a PITA. The holidays seem to bring out the mean spirit in everyone. Also, in January I no longer have to work 6 day work weeks, get to enjoy my 3 company paid holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's), and that is when I suspect my pay will be fixed.

For some reason this week was one of the slowest we've had in months....... I really hope that people want to buy a lotta christmas gifts this year
