Where do they sell sea weed salad?

I want to feed my fish some sea weed. Where is a place that it is usaully sold?

Oriental markets or health food stores usually carry nori.

My tangs prefer the dried seaweed that is a purple/red color. I don't know if it is harmful, but I would avoid the salted or roasted stuff.

lfs also may sell it. but i hear it's cheaper at a health food store

There is a kick a$$ sushi bar in SO CAL a little ways north of carlsbad on I5 that has the BEST seaweed salad I have ever had.
Too bad there isnt a decent sushi bar within 200 miles of where I live. I miss good sushi.

Anyway...in lieu of the nori (seaweed), the packaged Seaweed Selects which you can get in almost any pet store are a great source of natural and nutritious food for algae eaters. Our tangs LOVE the stuff off a clip in the tank, they tear it to shreds.
Our blue damsel thats in with them waits in the wings for pieces to fall off, and grabs them.
